    One of the most amazing Christian songs ever written and Natalie performs it wonderfully! It seems like almost every other song focuses on God’s promises and how blessed we all are. This one hits home for the many people of faith whose prayers don’t bring the results they’ve hoped for. Truly combines the need for hope with the reality of painful disappointment. Thank you, Natalie.

    I always found this song hard to grasp – it sounds encouraging, but at the same time not. But for those of you who also found ti confusing, I’d really advise looking it up. I won’t spam you, but I found a really good opinion of the meaning of this amazing song online.

    i think its so symbolic how she kind of opens her arms when she sings “To survive” the only way to survive is to open our arms in surrender to Him.
